is generic differin gel ok?

hey i know there are some nurses or knowledgeable people around here right? is generic differin ok? cos i'm tryin to avoid cost and get it online cheap till my insurance kicks in. Is there a difference between the original and the imitation. Its a prescription drug so you never know right?

i didn't think a generic was available.

My doc always helps me find generic if possible, since I'm, ya know, broke, however, in the case of Differin she told me that there was no such thing. I'd be very skeptical of any site claiming to sell a generic version.

the generic one i used worked better than the differin brand and it was more than 50% cheaper.
but i got it from a pharmacy not some online shop.
its effective ingredient is still Adapalene.

Like other posters, to my knowledge there is no generic for Differin available. I just checked through my insurance to be sure one hasn't been developed recently. No, there is no generic option. So beware.
