Well since you apply it at night and wash it off in the morning, the standard half like is about 4 hours. it doesn't really enter your system enough to cause any problems, but small amounts may do if your skin isnt healthy enough (not supplemented enough with vit a, beta carotene, b vitamins ect)

But if you are doing anything like waxing or other facial treatments, you will need to wait longer. I'm not sure how long...I've read anywhere from a couple weeks to maybe 2-3 months. I'd research that.
