Hey!
I'm on my third day of Finacea (only using it once a day), and I've noticed that my face is rather pinkish in some places and blotchy. Today is also the first day I noticed some itching when I first applied it, but that went away after about 20 minutes.
Is the slight redness normal, and will it go away? One of the biggest reasons I started Finacea was to even out my skin tone, after all...

Apply it, and use a light moisturizer. Don't use too much though. You seriously barely need to use any. I've never heard, or have had irritation.

Thanks for replying. Hmm... all moisturizers I've tried, despite claiming to be "non-comedogenic," have broken me out, so I usually prefer to not use one. My skin is very oily, but if it does dry out, I'll look into getting one. I'll try to apply less Finacea like you said and see if that helps.

I hope Finacea will work well for you!
I'm on my near 3rd week, and finally, the itchiness and stinging is tolerable, but man, for the first week and a half, every time I applied it, it was horrible.
Anyhow, I would definitely use a moisturizer (I'm using Cetaphile moisturizer) because after about two weeks of Finacea without moisturizer, I noticed my skin getting kind of scaley (basically, I think it's kind of getting near the peely stage, but it's not to a point where it actually peels off, so it just looks a little bit scaley).
Once I started using a moisturizer, the scaliness went away.
As for the redness, usually, when I apply it, my face looks really terrible. But when I wake up in the morning, it looks really good, so I would keep on sticking with it for a while.

Thanks guys, but I ended up dropping Finacea a few weeks ago. It was just too harsh for my skin, I guess. =/ Best of luck, though. It's worked for a lot of people, so I hope it works great for you!
