So I've had this really ugly dark colored acne cyst/nodule on my cheek for about a month and a half. (it's literally dark, like almost like scabs that form after a wound). And today I was super stressed out and was touching it, and at one point i accidently scratched it a little bit. And it's like the cyst opend up at a small opening or something, and blood and pus came out (i was lightly colored red blood, so I'm assuming it's mixed with pus).

So I wipe it off, and quite a bit came out until I stopped wiping it. And now, the cyst is still awful colored, but it feels FLATTER than before.

But I'm also panicking because I know if it pops early I'm screwed for life??

Please help a girl out.!!

hey girl,

i think u shld be fine. I've done shit like that before and almost always nothing bad happens. At most u may get a flattish red mark but that almost always fades with time and is easy to hide with concealer.

Sure it looks a mess now but it shld clear up. In the meantime, do u have any antibiotic/antiseptic cream/lotion to put on it? Stuff like dalacin. Just to prevent any further infection.
