You have moderate, inflamed acne. A regimen like acne.org regimen would help you out greatly.

Please don't pick or squeeze your pimples. Doing so merely can cause the pimples to rupture underneath the skin, giving you a higher risk for spreading infection and scarring.

When washing, don't use hot water. Hot water is irritating and will cause increased inflammation and redness. Warm or cool water is the safest to wash with.

Use a sensitive skin cleanser, or a gentle skin cleanser. Try to avoid products that say they are for oily skin or acne prone skin. Those are generally too harsh and stripping. They will remove the natural emollients from your skin that your skin needs to heal, and not develop further damage.

I have not tried Proactive. Others have, and with good results. Some have had bad results. As with all acne treatments, it's highly individual. sad.gif

I don't know how much it costs, but you might want to check into Dan's products and do the math yourself; see if his things are more cost-effective for you. His products come in very large containers so you'd be set for months! smile.gif

If you have not been to a dermatologist yet, it is likely time for you to go.
