An aspirin mask is a few non coated aspirin dissolved in warm water, which forms a grainy paste. You spread it on your face and leave it on until it dries. Then you can gently exfoliate as you rinse it off. It makes your skin feels smooth and glow alittle, but it did not help me with red marks or anything.......you should def give it a try!

Dude,

The aspirin mask is a homemade BHA mask available to each and everyone of us, totally inexpensive and highly efficient, made of salicylic acid or tablets of aspirin. BHA is known to help tremendously with cleaning pores from deep inside and therefore contribute to keeping our skin blemish-free. BHAs are efficient on existing blemishes as well, by helping them heal faster and keeping pores clean afterwards.

Dont know if it good or bad for u, but check out theres link with information about a asprin mask mate. I have never tryed it before so can not give u much advice on the benfits.

yes but they do not dissolve as well, and the consistency is weird...go for the noncoated!

Also, to help the aspirin paste stick to your face, and possibly enhance its potency as well, you can mix the dissolved aspirins with a tad of your daily facial cleansing cream (like I do) before applying.

you can buy a bottle of noncoated aspirin at any dept store.
walgreens.. target... cvs..

they re typically $2-3 a bottle

-take 4 asprin and put them in a small dish
-sprinkle water on them to dissolve them
-wait a couple minutes
-as they get a grainy look.. take some honey and pour a bit on the aspirin
-mix real well creating a mixture..
-put all over face evenly..
mostly making a 'mask'

wait 30mins
the best is 45 mins at most..
let it really soak into your skin.. it really helps ..

i know it sounds long.. but thats how long i do it..

wash off with warm water.. and while washing off move the grainy texture around your face a bit..
BUT GENTLY.. do not scrub it into your skin..

follow with a moisturizer.
or tone and moisturize =)

i do the aspirin mask 2 times a week.

the other mask i use is queen helenes julep mask.

these masks are great after showers!

I LOVE that mask. I'm constantly raving about it to anyone who will listen. I don't like it right after showers/washing my face though-- it stings like crazy.

I've used coated aspirin to make a mask a few times, & while it does make it soft, that's the only benefit that I noticed. It didn't stay on very long & it made me sneeze, too.

I love Queen Helene too!

I use dissolved asprin and honey as an exfoliant and then leave in on my face for a few minutes as a mask. It's great.

Does it remove blackheads straight up or just a nice little clean tight feeling for the ladies?
