Hi, I am going in to see my derm in about three weeks... and it is likely I'll be doing some sort of laser surgery or maybe microdermabrasion to treat red marks/scars.

I was just considering growing out my facial hair to 'cover' up the flaws in my face. Am I going to have to shave all my hair off before any kind of surgery? Or will they just work around it... or... ?

Thanks for any help.

basically I'm wondering if I should continue to shave daily. there might not be any point to growing out my hair if i'm just going to have to shave it in 3-4 weeks...

thanks
