I've been reading the posts about light treatments, particularly the 'Blue/red light faq' and the 'enLux' threads (which is very hard to follow by the way because of all the personal attacks). So far I'm undecided between enLUX and Naturebright. They both seem to work pretty efficiently and the tech specs are the ideal ones (thanks for the info techguy). But they work so differently that it's very confusing

Which one do you guys think would make be a better investment, performance-wise and time-wise (treatment time and also, life-wise)?

Edit: I forgot to say (if it's important) that I don't have a lot of pimples but once I get one, they are very noticeable, they go away in a couple of days but they usually leave a red mark that takes forever to vanish. I also have very oily skin.

The only person here that has tried both fluorescent and LED systems went back to the fluorescent. The fluorescents have theoretical advantages because they produce more total light in the relevant wavelengths/cover more of your face at once.

That'll be me! Quite right - Enlux lamps didn't work for me at all. BTW, I did get a full refund on the lamps from Sci\ART (they were very helpful), but there was still a significant cost in trying them (postage to UK and buying holders).

I've been back on the Beautyskin for a few weeks and things are improving for me, so I can only assume there isn't enough output from the Enlux for my moderate acne, or for some reason my condition responds better to the wavelength output from the Beautyskin (which looks pretty similar to the Naturebright lamp, btw).
