Hmmmm... I have these awful bags under my eyes... it looks like I nearly had a black eye... I don't know how to get rid of it. How can I 100% get rid of this? Waht should I do? I like to stay away from products if possible.

Also... I have visible pores on my skin hnow can I make them not visible?

Please help. sad.gif(sad.gifsad.gifsad.gifsad.gifsad.gifsad.gif

dark eye circles- yeah, no products will work. my dermatologist told me that laser eye lifts or collagen/fat injections can help, but i've heard horror stories about those kinds of things.

you can use dermablend smooth indulgence foundation for it...but go to a makeup counter to buy it because apparently the color system is really weird & the dermablend person at the counter will give you the right shade. it worked better than anything else i'd ever tried, but the only problem was that it dried my skin out & that made it look really fake...i heard they just came out with a new item that's like a moisturizing primer stick or something that stops it from drying out, so check that out when you go to the dermablend counter. personally, i've come to term with my dark circles & i just apply the same foundation i used for the rest of my face...doesn't cover them very well, but i've stopped caring.

pores- idk. they sell pore minimizing lotions/toners.

I recommend dollar store sunglasses.

Would you like me to move this topic? It's in the severe acne forum, but since it's about under-eye bags & visible pores you might get more responses in the Cosmetics/Style forum or the General acne products forum.

get some sleep and use hemorrhoid cream...seriously, it's what models use because it helps decrease the puffiness.

Here's what I did when I had eyebags. Though they are still there its not as puffy as before.

1) You need to get enough sleep
2) Drink plenty of water but not too much otherwise it can cause water retention in the eye.
8 glasses is fine.

3) Take ice compresses and place it on your eyes for 10-15 minutes. You can use chill
cucumbers as well.

4) Tea bags are also good as well. Put warm tea bags over your eyes for 15 minutes as well
You can try either the cold or warm methods.

5) I think if you are on medication, its more likely to develop eyebags. I have been on medication since 14 for acne and I think that was what contributed to my eyebags.

Hopefully not but I'm not sure. I have always been on medication since 14 so those eyebags were there for so long. I'm hoping once I finished accutane and gain that permanenet remission hopefully then the eyebags will slowly subside.

If you've been trying ALL of the suggestions that madeline tjai mentions above for longer than a month and you still have dark under eye circles, it is time to contact your physician. There are sometimes other reasons for recalcitrant under eye circles and bags. Anemia is one reason among many. Sun exposure is another.

A regular program of madeline's suggestions plus an excellent moisturizer should help reduce the bags over time. If they are greater upon rising, I find that a warm compress followed by a cool compress will reduce mine. Sinus issues can also cause under eye bagginess. Allergies can, anemia, etc.
