hello everyone

I've been getting a ton of private messages from people asking how BFG's reg is working for me since i've been on it since the 2nd week of october.

i can FINALLY say i am ALMOST 100% clear. in fact, i'd say i'm about 90% clear. YAY!

i did hit some rough patches over the last few weeks and started to think this reg was BS. tons of crap was coming up and my face was red and blotchy and scaly and just downright gross.

now.... my face isn't dry, i have no new cysts, and only a couple tiny whiteheads pop up here and there.

i have been doing the reg to a tee religiously and i never even once skipped a washing or my 6 fiber pills.

i haven't been this clear in over a year and i plan to continue this reg until i am 100% clear. i will definitely continue to post here to let you know this really does work.

Can I ask, what were you doing before you went on bfgs regimen? Were you on dans?

awww thanks i'm not trying to gloat at all, believe me. And, i'm still a little scared my results won't last. guess we'll see.

as far as what i did before this....you name it...dan's reg, every prescription known to man, proactiv, diet changes, urine therapy-yuck!, literally i've done everything (except accutane) but nothing worked. since i'm almost 40 and i've had cystic acne for about 20 years, i had pretty much given up. but the results - so far - are better than anything else i've ever done.

The reason I asked is I was interested in the transition from dans regimen to this, but if you didnt do that then fair enough. I hope you continue to see results. Ive been very sceptical about this regimen mainly because of the attitude of bfg, and ive not really seen many people saying they had had results, but I think I will try it.

Yeah, BFG goes a little overboard, but it seems like most people who try the regimen for over a month have seen good results.

No, because Im currently on a relatively low dosed course of accutane, but I am still having mild breakouts and am deeply hoping that the regimen will keep me clear after this course. I also did foolishly try it for about five days and my skin became scally and I had my first true cysts come up since going on tane, luckily it subsided on its own, but the best thing ive learned from tane is not to touch you fucking zits, particularly cysts.

Stick with your accutane, if your lucky ull get clear and not have to worry about your skin or doing anything too it. I was considering it, but ive been using BP on my skin for years now, and im so worried that if i came off it would go mad for atleast a few months while the accutane did its thing and i dont think I could do that.

The only thing I've been using from bfg's regimen are the pills...because that is the only thing I could get my hands on. Other than that I use some C&C wash every morning and night and 5% BP for nights(I never apply it on mornings). And while it's not exactly the same thing, it works. But my acne isn't as bitch as some of yours though, I've only had it since the mid of summer 2007, so almost half a year...compared to your years of suffery (still, it changed my views on acne, but also affected my social life quite a bit...).

Anyway, it's the beginning of 3rd week and i have no active acne, just some cysts around the cheeks and jawline that are going away (they're nto that visible, but I can feel them with my fingers. They're getting flatter though.). People comment how my skin is looking a lot better and I'm hoping it keeps improving.

What does BFG's regimen mean?
I would like to try whatever this is, can you please explain what are you using and doing?
