Well basically I'm on tane and have been for about 3 weeks. This is my 3rd coarse. I am also on Prednisone at a 10MG dosage every other day. Now the problem. Whenever I'm on the 20MG Prednisone every day I dont get a single cyst at all. Maybe a few whiteheads but nothing more. When I lower the dose to 10 or lower I get them like crazy. My doctor wants me off them though because the side affects of this drug are bad I guess. What would you suggest? Are there any other medications that you have tried that work jut like it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I really need some help here

Maybe ask your derm about using a topical medication until your Accutane IB is waning.

Okay here's what I think. I think if you drop the drug you start to break out because your skin ia not used to functioning on its own. You don't want to be on this stuff forever so I suggest you let the body go through withdrawal sooner than later.
"If you suddenly stop taking prednisone, your body may not have enough natural steroids to function normally. This may cause symptoms such as extreme tiredness, weakness, slowed movements, upset stomach, weight loss, changes in skin color, sores in the mouth, and craving for salt, and may cause death. Call your doctor if you experience these or other unusual symptoms while you are taking decreasing doses of prednisone or after you stop taking the medication."
