I had a bump... not even an inflamed one with a hair sticking out of it... so I pulled the hair out with tweezers and it turned into a cyst within 8 hours.. I iced it and put Eryacne on it to no avail.. so I started poking it with a needle trying to drain the pus.. then I scraped some skin off it with the needle and now it's scabbed over.. I'm worried it's going to become ingrown before or after the scab comes off... anyone had this happen? know what to do? sad.gif

I really sympathise because I did the same thing a couple of months ago and regretted it so much. The best thing you can do is not touch it at all. Really, I cannot stress that enough. Anti-flammatory pain killers such as ibruprofen can help to reduce swelling and pain, so it's a good idea to take some of them and then leave the area well alone so it can heal itself.

Stop touching it immediately is the best you can do now. You might of damaged the skin beyond repair now so all you can do is sleep, eat good, and wait.
