I'm starting Accutane in a month. Until then, he prescribed for me Bactrim. Is this a common thing, has anyone else experienced this course of action? Also, I picked up my prescription and it doesn't say on the bottle how many milligrams, just to take 2 a day with plenty of water. They are in tablet form. How do you guys take it. With a meal, as well?
Also, I was on minocycline a few months ago. I stopped because I became way too senstitive to the sun and to heat (I'm fair skinned). How much photosensitivity does Bactrim cause?
Bactrim then Accutane?

I suspect if the bactrim works for you your doctor will not put you on accutane, which could be a good thing. This is exactly what happened to me. I take 1 pill in the morning and 1 before I go to sleep. You don't have to take it with food unless it bothers your stomach for some reason.
