Does over drying lighten skin tone

i've been using paula's choice bha 2% and im about to use green cream but my skin tone has been lightening is that because of excessive drying??

hmm, I don't think it's the drying effect. I think that it is the exfoliating effect. The thing you're using caused your skin to exfoliate the dead, melanin containing skin cells. The fresh skin underneath has less melanin, since it hasn't been exposed to the sun (yet).

The skin that appears lighter is just new skin.

Morning

- Wash face with Glytone face wash.
- Take 2 tablets of Purivol ClearComplex.

Night

- Wash face with Glytone face wash.
- Apply Green Cream
- Take 2 tablets of Purivol ClearComplex.
