So I am developing this huge red bump under my lip. Im not sure if it is a cyst or a nodule and I dont really understand the difference. Ive read Dans definitions of all the different pimples but I still dont understand what a nodule is. Can someone please explain in simple terms. Thanks a bundles!

For me, i always think that a cyst is a lesion that has visible pus.
So basically, a cyst is a supersized pustule. A nodule is a supersized papule. hahaha i might be wrong, though.

He's right. A nodule is usually deeper and doesn't break the skin at all and is usually hard and compact. A cyst is higher up in the skin usually spongier, and can break the skin.
