i've been wanting to try Accutane since February earlier this year when someone recommended it to me. it says it is for moderate to severe acne. i posted this to ask am i sever or moderate?

I cant really tell if they are mostly red marks or mostly actives but Id say its moderate, maybe not severe but yeah you should be able to qualify for Accutane i think

thanx for replying! and can a pediatrician prescribe Accutane?

I cant tell you that, but if id have to guess id say no, only a dermatologist can prescribe you accutane. At least i think thats how it is over here (in the UK) .

However if you go to a pediatrician regarding your acne he/she may refer you to a dermatologist?

That's definately moderate, your skin isn't that bad at all. (Nevertheless, in the UK at least, I could be prescribed roaccutane even though my acne is less severe still. I believe accutane is more heavily restricted in the USA, though.)
