Over the last couple days a huge red bump has developed on the tip of my nose on the nostril that is causing a shooting pain through my head.I have never had an issue with acne and have never seen anything like this on my body. What even worse is that directly under the bump, inside my nostril is another bump that also is very painful. The bump is very red and VERY painful but doesnt have a "head" to it. The fact that there is a large, painful bump directly underneath this bumb and inside the nostril is making me a bit worried.Needless to say, this is the type of thing I have only seen in movies and Archie comics.

Anything you have to say would help.

I unfortunately dont know the answer to your question. Maybe someone else here does. Welcome to acne.org though

It might be an ingrown nose hair. One time my dad had an ingrown hair in his nose and it actually eventually worked its way out through the top of his nose (it started on the inside and moved to the outside). Gross. Don't pick at it, you don't want to get an infection that close to your brain. Go to a doctor.

From your description, please seek medical attention immediately. I don't think any of us here can or should be providing some kind of diagnosis...in effect you are encouraging people to practice medicine without a license.
