On my cheeks, they never go away, they flatten, but they're hard uner the skin and leave scars.
I also have a wierd bump on my chin that is barely inflamed, but a ton of pus comes out of it, except it's not the yellowish color of sebum, it's pure white. It doesn't have a head and blends in with my skin.
Also these uneven bumps that are hard to the touch.
cysts keep coming

cysts takes a very long time to go away, it doesn't disappear like normal pimples. It's like what you describe, how they flatten, not as lumpy, but still hard underneath. Just put some aloe vera or whatever you use on it everyday and eventually it will go away. It takes a long time though, takes me sometimes up to 1-2 months to fully disappear.
And as for your "werid bump under the chin" just leave it alone, they are most likely pimples under the skin. Are you trying to squeeze it? Because that will leave scars, as it hasn't come to a head and you're damaging the skin cells by attempting to squeeze the stuff out. Also, that white stuff is bacteria, when you squeeze it, does it tend to loop? If so, then its bacteria, my derm. told me when she was extracting a long time ago.
I can't stress this enough, don't touch them, sometimes they can pop under the skin and blood will be trapped underneath the skin and turn black.. and you wouldn't want that, trust me.
Also if you tend to get a lot of cysts, go see a derm. fast so they can prescribe you with anti-biotics.

I've done everything, but accutane. I don't pick, except the wierd one. I've done tretinoin, differin, erythromycin, tetracycline, minocycline, doxycycline, diets, liver flushes.
Right now
I wash BP 2.5 + Saclycic Acid day and night, my skin doesn't get dry or irritated.
50mg Zinc Night
12 Fish Oil Pills throughout day
Liver Support (Artichoke + Sasparilla Root)
Low Sugar
Low Sodium
Low Iodine
No Soda
No Fast Food
Mostly I eat fruits, veggies, as well as a lot of meat, mostly chicken. I also drink protein shakes and eat a lot of odawalla bars.

Hi. I have a stupid spot on the right side of my chin that I call a skin ulcer. It is a very dry patch of skin with a bump as well. No amount of moisturization will soften it and when I wear makeup, it doesnt totally cover it completely. It used to though but in 35 more sleeps I have a consult with the plastic surgeon to see if he can somehow cut it out. I just want soft skin away b/c it so hard to the touch. I wish I would have left well enough alone and didnt aggravate my bump on the chin as constantly seeing my reflection in the mirror is a reminder of how stupid I was do mess with it. I wish i would have left well enough alone.
