Is it risky to have a second co2 resurfacing ?

The first one would have been ok I guess but my stupid self putted WAY too much occlusive ointments/silicon gel and fucked his chance at nicely healing the skin. My main concern is the hypopigmentation risk because the resurfaced skin is now lighter than the rest (it doesn't flush). Could it get worse or is it something the doctor can counter with his machine ? Am I also risking more sebaceous hyperplasia ?
edit: The surface is not too big though (a mole)
