I've been on the Regimen for 3 months now. I do notice slight improvement, but I'm still getting breakouts resulting in red marks. This means another weekend indoors for me
. I'm feeling particularly sad today because 3 months is supposed to be IT for the Regimen. Has it taken anyone longer to clear up? I neeeed some words of encouragement right now. Man I just want to crawl in a hole.

Hey, don't worry about this. The red marks will fade but they take a LONG damn time. Seriously, up to 2 years for some people. When I last had severe acne, in January.. the red marks faded probably around June?
I use a moisturisor with AHA in it a few times a week at night (Neutrogena Healthy Skin) which seems to help me out when my skin texture is acting up. Take progress pics with a digital camera. It's easy to miss progress when you're checking your skin everyday. The red marks ARE frustrating, but they will fade in time.
Oh, I see you use the same moisturiser as me at night. Good.

Ok saying it's going to take 2 years is going to make him want to kill himself. I've been using DKR in the morning and tazorac at night for about 3 months and I still get small pimples but my red marks are gradually fading. I couldn't tell until I looked at some of my pictures from 3 months ago. Taking progress pics is a must to keep yourself sane.

I've been on this regimen for probably over a year by now. In that time I've taken two breaks for about a month each.. my face is still full of acne. Even worse, some of the acne I started with a year ago is still on my face. I feel like the BP doesn't give your skin a chance to really heal

I have been clear for well over a year. Your moisturizers suck imo. Cetaphil made me go to the ER due to an allergic reaction.
I use the same basic bar.
Same BP.
LAC HYDRIN 5
Works great. But it bleaches your eye brows after about 6 months.

BP never bleached my eyebrows and mine are black. I guess it depends on the person.

Sorry to say this but it took at least six months for me to get about 70% clear. Just over a year now and I guess I am 90% clear. Unfortunately there is no quick fix.
