Seborrhea is caused by candida.

If you want to alleviate SYMPTOMS then you can get apple cider vinegar and hydrogen peroxide 3%. Mix it 1 part ACV 1 part HP and 10 parts water. I guarantee you this will remove your flakes.

How ever this only fixes the symptoms. If you want to kill the root then google candida.

That's my advice, take it or leave it.

How can you come up with that unsubstantiated conclusion without any cold hard facts. Candida is not the trigger of Seborrhea but it might contribute to it.
You should really do more research before you start saying stuff which you obviously have no clue about. eusa_naughty.gif

One cause may be fungus in your blood, which is a candida issue. The other is called a skin fungus, however there is no candida present. The third is a parasites I have seen quite often, but candida is not present. The fourth cause I found to be a nitric oxide deficiency caused about by a nutritional deficiency. The fifth cause has to do with a circulatory issue caused by the pH acid/base imbalance which caused constriction of vessels which leads to a seborrheic skin which bought about a dandruff condition. The sixth cause is a hormonal imbalance issue bought about by several factors.

How ever due to the SAD (standard american diet) and anti biotics being given out like candy most SD sufferers have it due to colonized yeast overgrowth.

You don't have a clue what you're talking about. Go back to your derm and get another tube of steroid creams like rest of the sheeple then smile.gif

I went on accutane twice and Im am thinking that may be the cause of my SD and prerosacea symptoms. My T-zone is extremely oily and it flakes bad on my nose and eyebrows and in one ear. For the last 5 years I have been flushing all the time. Its not like a 24 hour lasting flush, but I flush at least 5 or 6 times a day and it gets really bad in social situations. Im not even shy or anything.
The reason why I think I have only pre-rosacea is because the flushing and little capallaries showing from flushing are really my only symptoms. My T-zone is always pinkish and ruddy looking by do you think that mild inflammation is from my SD? I use Plexion and it works great for redness but it actually makes me flake more which is weird. I also use Finacea which burns like hell but about an hour or two after I put it on it takes away the shiny look for a couple of hours till my oily skin kicks back in.

I just got prescribed Tersi Foam but it is making my skin really pink where I apply it. I mean really pink! I really hope this works.

I have tried everything from the candida diet to ACM and it didn't do a thing. I am going to try the demodex treatment after my semester ends and hopefully it will work.

I tried Elidell about 4 years ago for a year or so and while it helped a little it was very greasy and I am afraid of further suppressing my already weak immine system.

Yeah man it's such a struggle.. I also feel like I've tried everything and nothing seems to be working. Right now my only glimmer of hope is going holistic. I'm going to eat only raw foods for atleast 6 months and do fasts and stuff to sort of fix my internal balance. If that doesn't work then well, yeah my life is pretty much going to be shit.

i see your still having problems with this seb derm. Here's my tip of advice, that requires NOTHING. All you have to do is take a longer shower than usual and while in the showing gently scrub off the flakes using your fingers. Make sure you get as much as possible, because if you don't remove the dead skin layer, it's just going to pile up again.

So Ellidel doesn't mess with your immune? I though thats it woked, by suppressing the immune system enough for it to not be so reactive with whatever is causin the signs and symptoms.

I had to stop the Tersi Foam. It really worked on the flakyness but it made my skin really dark red and irritated. I must be allergic to Selenium Sulfide. What besides ellidel or steroids really works no stopping the flakes? Right now I just use Finacea and Plexion. I am starting to oil pull just to try it.

And in a couple weeks I am going to try the Sea Buckhorrn treatment with the ZZ cream to kill off these damn mites. After that I have nothing else to try except Paxil for my flushing and blushing.

FYI: Candida does not grow in the blood of normal people. It might on rare occasions grow in the blood of someone who has AIDS, but not in anyone with even a partially effective immune system. It just doesn't work that way.

If you want to know about the sea buckhorn and ZZ cream just go to demodexsolutions. com or rosaceans.com.

Im going on Paxil which IS an anitdepressent/anxiety because my flushing gets out of control in social situations. Im not a shy person at all and I have a great personality but when I am in brightly lit rooms with people my anxiety takes control of my body and causes me to flush uncontrollably. I also have a bit of OCD about my face but I guess so do alot of people with SD and rosacea. The paxil will calm my anxiety and OCD and therefore relax my nervous system so I don't even think about being red of flushed. I went on it in high school for ADHD also so it has many uses. Its not a simple drug by any means though and should be taken with some caution.

flushing has nothing to do with mites, so stop wasting your money on these products...as for SD, yea I got it along with the flushing....the flushing isn't rosacea, however it oculd possibly develop into it after prolonged flushing...

anti-depressants are gonna stop your flushing, u can give it a shot but I hightly doubt that its gonna do u any good...i have been on them before and it never helped...

as of now, my flushing is basically down...I do get red and hot somewhat when working out...but it isn't as extreme or hot/red as it once was...skin isn't as hypersensitive to extremes...so good luck with your traetments guys, i feel your frustration.

Had dry flakey skin on my face and my eyebrows, the sides of my nose and my forehead were hard and scaly and i would get yellow "bits" on my skin all the time.

My dermaatologist told me about some stuff you can buy over the counter for £3 and it completely cleared up everything i had in 1 week.

The cream is called Daktarin it's an anti fungal cream, thought i would mention it on here incase it might help someone.

I was using the Daktarin along with Differin Gel but i have cut back on the Gel already as i found it made my skin redder and just stick to using the Dactarin.
