A few days ago, I got a new pimple right above my lip. Its very red, hard, and has no head. Does this sound like a cystic pimple to you or a papule? Im not quite sure the difference between the two. All I know it that is really hurts! Also, what can I do to try and bring it to a head? I have tried use a hot tea bag as a hot compress and Ive also tried using a hot wash cloth as a hot compress which didnt stay hot for very long. Neither one worked.
Is This a Cystic Pimple or a Papule and how do you differentiate between the two??

How deep under the skin is it? If the pimple is mostly above the surface it is probably a papule. If its much deeper under the skin, it may be a cyst. From what you have said so far, it mostly sounds like a papule to me.
Papules don't always have to come to a head in order to go away (and not all of them develop heads). If you cant see any pus under the surface of the skin, using a hot compress may not do much. If/when it does develop a head, that might be the time to use the compress. Try adding a little sea salt to your hot compress. Keep heating up the water and dipping the washcloth or cotton ball into the hot mixture. It may help draw the pimple to a head. However, if the pimple doesn't develop a head and you just want it to go down, you might do the opposite and ice it.
