hi there,

i'm on 40mg a day accutane, which is a low dose.

so far, after 2 months, the results are my skin looks horrific!

can i use the light treatment still? my skin is so bad it needs help!

i was thinking of just using it for 15mins at night on my face.

my skin is so bad i can't face going outside or to work even.

anyway, let me know what you reckon!

Hang in there, at 2 months you may just be getting past the worst part. Wait another month and see. Ask your doc about combining, as it's my understanding that Accutane has warnings about photo-sensitivity and that you are NOT supposed to use any light treatments while on it.

Besides, the blue light therapy takes 4-10 wks for real benefits and you will likely see benefit soon from Accutane and might not know which helped.
