Hi everyone! I'm new and just starting to learn all about acne though I've had them for years.
I'm interested in having laser acne treatments done. Has anybody tried Fraxel Laser? What is it? How different is it from other laser treatments? Thanks!

Hello,
Well this laser is for acne, scars and pigmentation. It is little bit painful and there is dye on the treated area after every treatment. If you are using this laser for only active acne then this is not proper for this condition. There is no need to kill hen with canon.

Why is it not proper for this condition? I read an article about it (http://www.body-philosophy.net/fraxel_laser_skin_resurfacing) and it says there that this laser procedure has shorter recovery period unlike other lasers that require a week or more of recovery. Which is why I'm interested in it. Would you recommend other laser treatments that has shorter recovery period as well? Thanks!
