Hello, I wear fairly light neutral in intensive formula. I love the soft bronzer because it does not give an orange cast that a lot of bronzers have. The tinted silk dust also works well for me as a final step, I have slightly oily skin.

If you like to use vaseline on your lips try mixing some with your favorite blush in an empty sample jar. Microwave it for 30 seconds then tap the container on your counter until the vaseline settles nicely. When it cools it will harden slightly and makes a great lip gloss.

wow - thats a really cool tip! i'm going to try that one!

'tash, I'm so surprised you don't like Best Friends blush! Wow. It is my absolute favoritest blush ever. Are you very pale with pink undertones? I'm olivey with yellow undertones, not a teeny bit of pink to me. I am pale, though, but I tan easily and fast when I used to tan. Shoot, that reminded me I have to have a basal cell carcinoma removed the end of this month. *sighs* Let that be a lesson to you: do not tan! Do not go to tanning beds! If I end up with a hideous scar I am taking a picture of it and I am posting it as a warning to those of you who tan.

Yer i know, i dont like it. But i have only used it once though. But i just didnt like the purple hue in it. Might try it again some other day.

I dont know what colour i am lol, but i am pale, and i think i have yellow undertones. But the APPLE is excellent on me! sideways.gif I hope your surgery goes well. Yerp, your right. Luckily i dont tan or sunbathe.

Hey thats a good tip for the lip balm! So I just ordered some more in my color but in the intensive formula because I only had matte and semi-matte before and maybe thats why it made me feel dry so Im giving it another shot. I did try the wet method today (with the semi-matte I have leftover) and I loved it, but after it kinda dried I still feel like it has a slight tight feeling. I used it with just water and also mixed with my moisturizer. Ill try with a different moisturizer and see if that helps

Does anyone know how to get a dewy finish?

Hehehe, I got my 'free' order yesterday, I am officially apart of the Cult. I have to say, I love it. I'm using 'sandy medium matte' right now but i'm not done experiementing with the some other shades. Also i got the 'back to school' blush SOO pretty! and the light medium concealer Do you guys put the concealer on first or after? Also does the intensive shades come off a bit darker to you guys than the matte or is it just me?

I absoluetly love Everyday Minerals and it will look so good once my acne's cleared, BTW i have a derm appointment next week hopefully she'll say i'm a qualify for accutane wish me luck..

I think what's on your invoice, the discount code that is, they will go with that.

This is what happened to me too. I desperately wanted the 10% DISCOUNT and Carina posted that the special ends 8/19. On my invoice it says i ordered, date 8/19 & time 12.59 AM. But the 10% discount was still running. Im guessing because everyone is all asleep and no one changed it.

Maybe just email them quickly and ask for the Cherry Fizz. Im sure they'll give it to you! eusa_dance.gif

YAY!! eusa_dance.gif eusa_dance.gif eusa_dance.gif eusa_dance.gif eusa_dance.gif Welcome to the EMC.

I think you should experiment. Maybe the concealer might look better on first, or it could look better on after. But i would put it on after.

I first buff my face with concealer (yes i use this as my foundation) and after a couple of layers, if theres red marks coming out, i get my concealer brush and quickly conceal them with the concealer. sideways.gif

I already paid & it shipped by the time I posted this. It shipped like Monday morning & I put the order in Sunday night. I'll give them credit for processing fast!
It's annoying though cuz I have this bad luck with sales....I'll buy something at full price cuz I love it & 1 week later it's like 50% off lol.gif

Hello, I'm Buttered Tan in the intensive formula.

Here are some tricks/tips that I've learned, tested, and have worked for me.

1~ Scared of EM's mint concealer? Well just mix in a little w/ your moisturizer, apply where you need it, and let it dry. Then apply your foundation, blush, and finishing powders. This allows you to get the benefit of the mint concealer w/o looking all green.

2~ If your in a hurry, mix in your EM foundation w/ your moisturizer to make your own tinted moisturizer. You get nice, sheer coverage in 1 step, but if want more coverage just mix in more foundation to the moisturizer.

3~ I always apply my concealer wet, let it dry (a couple minutes), then buff my foundation in. This makes it easier for me to apply under my eyes and I don't really have to blend my concealer in because the buffing of my foundation blends it all together.

4~ I'm pretty sure people know this already...if you have oily skin, apply your fave. finishing powder BEFORE your foundation. This acts like a sort of primer to help control oil and shine.

Well that's all I could think of!

Thank you so much for this tip. I tried it on my T-Zone and I was oil-free all day!! biggrin.gif

Does anyone know what this brand uses for dyes to get the colors for blushes and eyeshadows? I'm allergic to types of red dye in the department store blushes and they make me break out. I was wondering if I'd be okay using this blush.

I am 99% sure to get the colours of the blushes etc, or just the colour in general is the iron oxide, mica and not sure, but also the ultramarines. But they do not use artcificial dyes like in the stores.

But yer, might email them for the correct answer.
