Nessa I know you mentioned Monistat as I just recently read several things about using it as a primer, can I ask where you can find it? I've looked at every local store here and was unable to find the particular one. Please don't tell me it's been discontinued or I'll cry! Is this (Monistat Soothing Care Chafing Relief Powder-Gel 1.5 oz (42 g)) the same formulation as people have spoken of? If so I'll just order it from there.

no idea about the pressed powders. You can only order one free sample kit at a time and you have to pay for shipping.

EDM announced that they would be discontinuing the kits sometime last year because of "resellers". A lot of people stocked up on their favourites; some purchased several kits to get the most out of the deal. After a couple months, they decided to keep the kits, which angered some people for being duped into buying mass quantities, though the reaction was mostly relief. Then, without warning, the kits were taken away with the new website.
Instead of the kits, there are now "beauty perks". Purchase 5-11 full sized items and get 25% off, or buy 12+ items and get 45% off. Like with the kits, items under "collections" or Everyday Naturals (their collection of denim handbags and brush rolls) do not apply for the discount.

Now my question is when I go to place my order it asks wheter I want semi-matte, matte, intensive or original glo. Now my question is what is the difference between all these?
Thanks in advance to all that respond, much appreciated. xD

I can't seem to find the forums anymore, either. I guess they got rid of that, too? Probably people complained about the company too much on them.

By early fall, I found Garden of Wisdom skincare and Chagrin Valley soaps and, with the help of the GoW forum, I started a stripped down more "natural" and gentle routine. My skin started to heal and clear up, but I still had 6 or 7 enflamed spots at any given time. After EDM took their forum down, and one of the members started another forum (http://www.87px.net/mmf/index.php) to replace it, a lot of EDM users started coming forward with their experiences with the brand. Several people had some pretty bad reactions (both allergic & acne) and suspected EDM changed their formulas or was possibly unaware or silent regarding a change in the quality of their ingredients (please check out the forum for more info; you have to register, but there is a lot of information on various makeup brands, and lots of great OT chat too
So, I decided to stop using EDM bases, concealers, and finishing powders entirely at the end of December, and within two weeks my skin was noticeably clearer. I now only have one or two enflamed spots at a time (mostly around TTOTM), and they are much smaller/more manageable. Also, ruling out other causes, I haven't changed anything in my skin care or supplement routine since October. I was most recently using EDM intensive formula in buff perfect, but I had also used all of the other formulas, alone or in some combo in the past as well (and in other shades as I struggled w/ finding the right color). All of my product lids were white, as that seems to be a factor (brown lidded products seem not to cause reactions as much).
I've returned to liquid foundation for the time being (Almay TLC & Revlon Colorstay) and am very cautiously looking at other mineral makeup brands.
Since I was using a lot of different stuff during the point when my acne was the worst (last spring & summer), I'm not saying that I can definitively blame EDM for the bulk of my acne. And I know that even if EDM creates or worsens acne in some, it may not cause the same reaction in others. What I DO know for sure is that my face cleared significantly once I stopped using even a touch of EDM concealer, base, or powder.
I don't want to be a hater on this EDM Cult thread, but I felt I needed to share my experience with others and also point people toward a place where they can get more information to make a more fully informed decision about their makeup.
Thanks.

I would need some help on choosing a blush.
I have fair skin with yellow undertones, my eyes and hair are brown. However my overall appearance is more in the cool side, warm shades do not look good on me.
What EDM blush would you recommend for me to try?
Thank you
