I'm seriously fucked off with this drug at the moment. I'm at a point now in the course where it's suppose to be only improvement but its yet to happen. My neck has about 12 big pimples on it and I need to get a haircut and I can't because of how humiliating they are. U know ur acne is a big problem when u can't get a fucking haircut.

The corners of my mouth and and the skin just around that area is cracked, again. Not just split but cracked with big scabs so that it can heal over. My skin quite literally cracks at the change of the wind. I try moisturinsing and my face gets really oil and I get some breakouts. Damned if I do, damned if I don't. I've lost count of how many times the corners of my mouth have scabbed over during this course.

The redmarks just make NO progress, no matter what u do, hot water/cold water dips and on and on it goes....

I've also been really sick twice during my course. The second time I couldn't eat, my stomach just wouldn't take it, for 6 days. Then a week after the first day of sickness I'm feeling normal, I get a hemorrhoid. If u haven't had one, the pain is quite literally incapacitating. I couldn't sit properly, couldn't walk properly, hurt to get up and sit/lie down for 4 fucking days.
Mum:"Why are you walking like that?" "I hurt my leg playing soccer" I hadn't even been out of the house that day. From being sick to having my hemorrhoid heal I was pretty much incapacitated for 2 weeks. While I was sick I stopped taking accutane for about 4 days just to have a break, then about 2 days back into taking it my oil has come back and a week and a half later its still here. I'm doubling up to 40mg just to try and dry it back up but so far no luck.

I'm willing to put up with alot for clear skin, and I have no desire to stop taking the pills, but all this shit for minimal results is fucking disheartning and depressing. Accutane is great for alot of ppl, but if u haven't been on it b4, don't psyche urself up that its going to be an absolute wonderdrug.

Stay positive, a little placebo effect can't hurt...

And some say they don't even say results til a month AFTER their final pill, hang in there...
