i got a mosquito bite on my face just now and its huge!
and since Im on accutane, my face is sensitive and its doubled its size..
and school is next week! how long do they last?
ps, will a mosquito bite have any effect on accutane??

1. Ice it. (bring down swelling) Or just put cold washcloth on it intermittently.
2. Slather the spot with calamine lotion. Stick some antibiotic cream/ointment over the lotion and cover with bandaid. You won't scratch it during the night.
3. Don't scratch it.
4. Take an anti-inflammatory like naproxen sodium or ibuprofen.
5. If it's swollen a lot, it wouldn't hurt to take an anti-histamine before bed time (something like Benadryl is terrific).
That's what I do for mine; I live in a former swampy area...lots and lots of mosquitos here. Horrid creatures.
You'll be fine, don't worry about the affect on the Accutane. Just don't scratch it, that spreads the allergen around more...
