I was on accutane for a cumulative dose of over 220 mg/kg. Now 10 days later my skin is not as dry anymore and moisturizing is no longer needed. I've gotten a couple of zits around my nose where I used to be oily and that's the place where the oil has gotten back the fastest. I'm guessing there's no chance in hell my derm is gonna prescribe me accutane for the next 2 months since I just came of a ~8 months cure. What can I do in the mean time, is it possible to get anything to spot treat it? What should I get that isn't too hard on the skin since I recently been on accutane?
About 10 days post accutane, skin barely even dry now, got new acne

Hey man
I just came off an 11 month course so, if you are seeing some new acne that you are worried about its better seeing if you can get an extra couple of months rather than needing to go on another 8 months later on in life.
You can try benzyl peroxide as a spot treament, you can get it from chemists and such.
Good luck man

What? Man it can be bought from a regular drugstore OTC.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think thats what they call it there...
Though if you are getting what Americans call "chemists" to make some BP, I gotta get me some of that. Its probably potent as heck
Aside from that, to the OP, some other posters here have talked about sustained long term small dose treatments of accutane... perhaps its worth looking into?
Ah, acne.org, bringing people together...
