hi i just started Accutane a week ago now. im on 2 *s 40 mg per day. basically im using oil of olay as a moistoriser and using clearasil as a cleanser. the other day my forehead got really really dry and flaky and my scalp in my hair is going disgustin as well. gettin realy dandruffy. so i put the oil of olay on my forehead and the top of my forehead starting to burn and i got like browny white bits there as if its been burned. looks sooooo bad. and now everytime i put like any cream on it it starts to burn. so iv got dry skin on my forehead.. i know lots of threads have already been started on the same topic and im sorry but i was wonderin if anyone could recommend me a good moistoriser that isnt gona burn my skin (well specifically my forehead the rest of my face doesnt burn). i currently use oil of olay. not cetaphil or anything like that though coz i live in the UK. also can someone recommend a cheap cleanser as well please i read ur not supposed to use anti acne products on ur face whilst using roaccutane. thanx ill jus wait for replys now . sorry for this loooooooong thread. help needed fast though.....

I've read good things about the 'simple' cleanser available there.

If you've got Eucerin there, they make Aquaphor. Vaseline is also an exceptional moisturizer that does not cause burning or sensitivity while you're on Accutane. it is massively soothing. wink.gif

I can recall a similar thing happening to me when i started, it should go away over time when your body gets used to the drug. Maybe dont use anything on your face except for a clenser and just wash it gently with water.
