I've been on two 40 mg pills of accutane per day for about 2 weeks now. After a few days of taking the drug I noticed that I am having some facial redness. Although my acne seems to have stopped dead in its tracks, I can't get over my "pink" face. What's worse is... I have white circles just around my eyes, and it looks like I've gotten a slight sunburn. Will this go away anytime soon? Did anyone have sideeffects that came and went on the prescription? I'm happy that my mild acne has shown signs of disappearing, but a red face isn't much better sad.gif

I have facial redness too. It is normal and it seems to let up as time goes on through treatment.

Yep, my face looked sunburned (with white around my eyes like you described) at the beginning of my course. It has improved now that I'm nearing the end - less than 10 days to go! Anyway, now my skin is a light shade of pink and no one comments that I look sunburned anymore.
Just try your best to avoid the sun since your skin is really sensitive right now.
