I dont exercise much at all. Last time I did any exercise besides weight training (as in running/jogging/cycling) was about 6 months ago, I'm 19. I want to get back into exercising regularly, last time I would exercise I did it 4-5 times a week, about 45 minutes a day.

Should I exercise while on my course? How should I do it? I plan on cardio 3 times a week and weights twice a week. Is it stupid to exercise on tane while unfit and can I do my normal jogging/cycling/rowing?

Also, what could I use for muscle/joint pain and fatigue?

Talk to your derm, I'm sure they'll say it's fine, but in my opinion - yes! Exercise (especially if you haven't done it in awhile) is very good for you and Accutane shouldn't interfere. If you get achey or anything, just take some ibuprofen/acetaminophen. Exercise is good - but talk to your derm too, he might have some advice/info to give you. biggrin.gif

Exercise on Accutane is perfectly fine- but if you're going outside, be sure to wear plenty of sunscreen everywhere biggrin.gif

I do a lot of inline skating and I went out 4-5 times a week when I was on Accutane, with no problems.

Joint pain is a possible side effect of Accutane.

I am doing weight trainging and cardio while on my course. I am finising up my fitth month on tane with zero probles related to accutane and exercise. No joint pain. In fact the exercise as been huge because not only is the results of accutane a huge confidense booster, but I have lost 40lbs since starting accutane and I feel so much better about myself.
