hey everyone!
I think I have about 10 days untill I go to the derm to start my second month of sotret. I am experiencing all the side effects, but my skin has been so weird. It will get really really good and i'll be so happy, and then it will break out terrible again. Is this normal? I really hope this stuff works for me

Hey there,

Yeah, it's totally normal to have good skin for a day/week/month or so and then breakout again.... From what my Derm. said month one/two are the months you tend to break out more and then clearing usually happens months 3 onward. Accutane is pushing sebum out and any pimples that are "brewing" under your skin. My face was clear since month 2 and now I'm in month 4 and getting a few tiny pimples. Nothing major though, but still. My face is much smoother though and pores are clearer/cleaner than before Tane.

Hang in there. Soon you will have clearer skin. And for the tiredness (I'm sure you have it) try to exercise and eat good. Keep positive. Know Accutane has kicked me in the butt, but I try to keep my energy up.
