so this is a 2 part question. i've been like so tired the past couple days like just laying in bed all day and watching tv..not depressed whatsoever..im happy with how my treatment is coming alot..i was checking to see if anyone else had experienced this for days in a row. and also i've had a little sore throat for the past 2-3 days..is that normal or no? thanks!

Hi there -

I've had occassional sore throat/swollen glands while on Accutane. Like a tightening feeling at times. I'm in month four. I haven't mentioned it to my Derm. as it's occassional, but I did read it could be a side effect. Every day sore throat could mean a problem though. I read drinking plenty of water and food with the Accutane will ensure it doesn't absorb in the throat area. For the past week/two it's been better for me. I do take an occassional Sudafed if needed.

when i first started i had sore throats a lot. Now it's occasional. But i am about 2 months in and i am still exhausted!! i have to force myself to exercise and do things. Can't kick this tired feeling. But no depression.
