I'm about 3 weeks into my treatment and have the normal dry face, lips and even my forearms and hands are dry and peeling.

I'm on 80mg daily (I'm 6'3'' 190lbs).

Will the dryness and peeling subside over time or will it remain the same throughout the course of the treatment? I have been able to handle the dryness w/ aquaphor so it's not a huge deal. I just wanted to know if this will last the entire 5 months I'm on it or if another few weeks and my flaking will stop. Thanks.

I'm 29 Male, suffering mild acne. On acutane and Obagi system 1/5 months completed. It's been about 5 weeks on 20mg 1 capsule per day. No excesive drying, but can see redness in problem areas; in general acne feels more undercontrol as I have not been breaking out as much as ussual. I have to watch out for irritation of skin by not taking hot showers, luke warm only, and gentle washing of face, pat dry with towel - change every 4-5 days, and i make sure i'm rested (7hours sleep at least) and eat consistently (balanced diet - never starve yourself. eat breakfast, lunch and dinner always and lots of fruits and veges). So far happy with the controlled results so far. Dr. says she might increase the dosage (40mg) if the minor break out continues...
