I am thinking about starting the regimen as I feel like I'm fighting an uphill battle with my skin. I'm still on the fence about whether I want to order Daniel's regimen products or not, as the shipping for a starter kit is $20, and that combined with the exchange rate and the possibility of getting hit with customs kind of defeats the purpose of saving money by not buying, say, Proactiv.
I know I could use over-the-counter products, but it's always been important to me that my personal care products aren't tested on animals. This doesn't seem to be a big issue where the cleanser or moisturizer are concerned (I'm thinking of using Nivea gentle cleansing cream and rich day care moisturizer), but I can't seem to find a brand of 2.5% BP that isn't tested (other than Proactiv, which is $30 a bottle). The only other brands I can even think of are Panoxyl, Clearasil, etc. which both test (or at least I'm pretty sure Panoxyl does as they never responded to my e-mail inquiring about whether or not they did). I feel almost ready to give up on my morals for clear skin, but I don't want to if I can avoid it.
