ok. so im on day 121 of accutane. its been a very slow progress, it's been improving thou lil by lil. im still breakin out. so i went to my doc yesterday n noticed i had some very inflamed pimples so he suggested i get a facial cuz it was gettin infected. so idid. however, doc's dont do facial, some lady did my acne facial however, i think she went to over board. it looks like i have chicken pox allllllllllll over my face cuz she tried to get rid of almost every comedone in my face n 2 cysts i had. my poor face, looks so irritated n stings a lil. my doc prescribed me presdisone n omnicef n my dosage went down to 80mg. my face looks flatter but so irritated w/red tiny spots all over my face. SO, i dont kno if the lady knew what exactly the doc suggested, i asked her a bunch of times if it was ok to do my whole face cuz im on accuatane, she said its fine, that she knows wut shes doin. so idk.
HAS ANYONE HAD AN ACNE FACIAL WHILE ON ACCUTANE?;;SIGH::i couldnt even sleep right last night cuz i was so worried the red spots may not go away n school is around the corner!!!! HELPPPP!!! ANY SUGGESTTIONS????

Eventually they will go away, but no I don't think she should have done that. A facial without extractions would have been fine, and to work with the infected one, but not the whole face because the skin is too fragile for extractions right now and probably for quite some time. I say put some healing agents on it like neosporin and let it be. I would be very very mad at that lady. You should go in there and make her look what she did to you. I would just because she said she knew what she was doing.

Moisturize like mad; that will help your skin recover and maintain its hydration as well. Neosporin on only the worst spots, but Aquaphor would be just fine if not better as it has fewer risks of side effects.
