I think as long as you aren't doing heavy weight lifting you'll be ok. I do cardio 3 times a week with no problem. My derm have me no restrictions on physical activity.

wssviper,
did your derm say why you cant exercise?
im trying to do 45mins cardio every other day. might do some weights soon as well but nothing too heavy. i'm on 20mg so thats pretty low dose. surely i can do light weights and cardio????
anyone know the answer to this problem?

i dunno bro, but he said absolutely no excerisze except for light walking and im not gonna jeopordize the treatment so ill adhere to that. im also on low dose 20 mg, so maybe we can do some mild weighlifting due to our low dose? im not sure tho..he didnt really say why but it was emphasized so..

I asked my derm. about weight liffting and he said i can still do any phsyical activity i want. he said i might get sore quicker but still said it was okay to continue lifting.

Unless you have some special situation, the main reason for the whole "not exercising on Accutane" is because of the possible joint pains and muscle aches. I think it's somewhat crazy to tell you not to exercise. Exercise is good for you, as long as you don't go overboard. But, he's your derm so I guess he knows best. But I cannot see in any way how exercising will jeopordize your treatment.
But, ask your derm! He'd better give a pretty good reason to tell you to not exercise.
