I just finished up a low dose cycle and I was wondering if anyone had some tips for a post tane regimen. The past few days I've just been cleansing. Any ideas?

normally after accutane you don't have to do anything special unless the acne comes back. just cleanse, and moisturize if necessary.

I have some Green Cream left from before my tane cycle. How long should I wait before I start using it again?

I'm into Month 6 and get 1 pimple every 2 weeks or something. If it still happens after my 7 months, then I'm probably doing the regimen.

i read that you should take something to heal your liver nicely after all the drugs you've loaded it with.
Milk Thistle, chinese bitters , alpha aloic acid (sp?)- there are a few different ones.

I finish in 2 weeks and my derm has told me I'll be using a topical again. Zineryt.

I hate it..it ruins all my clothes and everything, but she says it will maintain clear skin. rolleyes.gif

That I don't know...I read about BP on here and have no idea. Zineryt is the only topical I've ever used (I did buy quinoderm)..... I just looked that up and apparently its BP. Oh... well in this case BP MELTED MY FACE OFF!! Seriously, I have very sensitive skin and it left me raw and didn't help spots in the least. So no...zineryt cant be the same.

I really have no idea... zineryt is like a roll on lotion..where as quinoderm was a cream.

Ok..apparently zineryt is a lotion version of erythromycin.

A terrible rambling post. Apologies.

Yeah Zineryt is erythromycin in topical form. I was on it before accutane. Doesn't smell nice, feel nice and people kissing me said it doesn't taste at all nice!

Oh well. I'll do anything to keep my skin clear. Kissing will just have to wait!
