so i technically went off accutane 3 weeks ago, but since the beginning of may i dropped my dosage to like four pills a week and in june got a topical, clindamycin. anyway, my skin is super dry and irritated. should i just go off everything - would be skin improve like its supposed to after accutane or should i remain on a topical? (im paranoid to break out again!)

I feel the same but I still have a month left. Some people on the boards said to wait and if you breakout even once after Accutane, get a topical or atleast have a regimen started. But some people are 100% clear after Accutane.

if I were you I would stop taking the accutane, and see if it helps with the dryness. If it doesn't change, then stop the clindamycin too.. but I'm not a derm, this is just what I'd do.

This will probably be my last month on accutane. I'm ready for the dry, flakey skin to end. I just want it to be normal... like when I was 12 wink.gif
