Hey all need some help real quick please,

I have been using retin-a cream now for about 2 months and so far the results are pretty good but they could still be better.

Need to know a good moisturizer to use while using retin-a cream toprevent dryness and flaking. But most importatnly was wondering a what a good face wash to use with retin-a cream is. I currently use 10% BP wash from glades it is a prescription but it is not prescribed by a doctor. Wondering if anyone has any success usingsomething else?

Is SA better to use with retin-a or bp wash. It is working okay but thinking maybe a wash would work better.

Thanks for your time

I believe the product insert says you should not use products with BP or SA in them with a retinoid. Definitely not BP. That could be why your results are not as good as you want them to be. I use Purpose cleanser and I love it. Highly recommended to go with prescription acne treatments.

I know many people say not to use bp with retin a. My doctor gave me a 10% bp wash to go along with my retin a and I have had great results using the bp in the morning and retin a at night. This is greatly reduced my initial breakouts.

i would stick with gentle washes such as
-cetaphil
-purpose
-aveeno
anything that is gentle without bp or sa or aha's retin-a is drying enough so you need to be gentle with your cleanser and moisturizer.
