I have used the mini peel once. My skin looked bad for a couple of days after, but then I had a nice glow. No earth-shattering changes with one use, but I'm sure it would help with tone and texture over time!

It made my skin look worse as well. For some reason my skin looks worse after the lactic acid too.

Hi animegirle,
Actually, it did get back to normal after a few days but it didnt get any better. I've given up on peels but that doesnt mean it wont work for you. I am working on cross TCA for now. Still healing so I cant say how it's working for me just yet.

I haven't used it but if you do, please be sure to read the instructions first. A poster here used it incorrectly and got a 1st degree burn. Read the directions carefullly and you should be fine.

Hi Lala: I just washed my face, waited for it to dry then applied the peel. I think I left it on for four minutes (per the bottle's instructions) and then just washed with water, then my cleanser.
To echo what Oursfan said, make sure you DO NOT USE THE INTENSE GEL AFTER THE PEEL. The literature that comes w/ these products stresses that, but someone on the board used the intense gel AFTER the peel and got BURNED.
Alex: I did breakout a little after the peel and my skin looked kind of crappy for a couple of days before returning to normal.
Jamie: After one treatment I really did not see major changes. Maybe there is someone out there who is using this on a more consistent basis. I would also like to know about the pores and red marks. :-k

Ok, I did a gycolic acid 30% (frome Puredeming) peel yesterday.
I left it on my skin for 5 minutes. But when i woke up today and looked into the mirror i see no sign of a peeling. No redness, no peeled skin,...
Did i do anything wrong?

You're not really supposed to experience any down time with a 30% glycolic peel. Ultimately a 30% glycolic or up to 50% lactic should give no down time at all if you follow the instructions. Some people have particularly sensitive skin and for that reason, I always stress to spot test an area of your face first before going for a full face peel.
Personally, I dislike glycolic peels, I find them too harsh. I also find that it dries the skin too much. Over dried skin can cause minor breakouts. I far prefer lactic peels, which from my experience, not only helps smooth out my skin tone but helps with acne too.
Make sure that you ALWAYS moisterise well afterwards and wear sunscreen every day.
