I've had enough today so I decided to try a reeeally alternative appoach: distant energy healing. Ok, don't laugh, but I'm desperate. Some people recommended it to me. They said they were suffering from acne for years until they tried this. One of the women was clear in a month and it never returned.
It's something like Reiki only you don't have to be present for the channeling of the universal healing energy. So, I've found a website where they offer distant healing and I'm starting in a few days. They don't accept fees for the healing, only a small donation of what you can afford. Who knows? It could work! If it doesn't, then I will be able to say that I've tried literally everything". LOL

I've just started my energy healing today. It's done twice a day for 15 min, once in the morning and once around midnight for a total of about 3 hours a week. I'm going to continue to receive it for the next few weeks or until it -hopefully- completely cures me! I'm going to update you on my progress. Just imagine if in a few weeks time my acne totally stops and never comes back!! lol

Update: I haven't had a new spot forming since I started the healing 5 days ago! That's a first for me. Another strange thing started happening since that day, too, though: I've started coughing up phlegm. Other than that, I'm fine and I don't have a cold. I was thinking if it's related to my treatment at all since it's started on the same day and I've also read somewhere that you can develop some strange symptoms as a result of the healing as if your organism is rejecting all the accumulated bad energy.

That's really trippy. I've had energy healing before for other stuff but I've always been in the same room. I totally believe it works so I'm interested in seeing how it's going for you, is it still working?

Well, since I started (16th July) I only had 3 spots forming (they actually formed all together on the same day). Since then, they have healed and I don't have any active acne at the moment, just old marks. I hope it stays the same way!

Of course, it could be the Marvelon pill I'm taking for the 5th month now (maybe it finally started working) and some BP 2.5% I'm applying to my face. But because this clearance happened suddenly (I've never had so clear skin since I was 13), who knows? Maybe it IS working!! Of course the healer warned me that chronic conditions can take longer to heal, but I ain't complaining so far!

If you're interested about distant healing you can read some of this young man's books. He's called Adam and performs distant healing since he was little. I'm reading one of his books right now and he seems so mature, way beyond his years!

By the way, I still have phlegm which I can't get rid of. I keep coughing but nothing comes out. This, as I said, happened, since the day I started the healing! Maybe I will have to get rid of it completely to be totally cured?

I've had one spot since I started! Now I'm left with red marks and huge pores... I forgot to ask about that! LOL! However, I'm still scared that it will come back at some point...I'm using a little BP every now and then. Maybe this has helped, too.

Hey Silverlake, what was your experience working with David Cook after all? I just googled "energy healing acne" last night and was linked to this forum and your post - I've already exchanged a couple e-mails with him but haven't committed to anything yet. What was your experience like in the end?
