Neither product has any downtime. Make sure you don't use the intense gel directly after the lactic peel. Wait at least 12 hours.

I used this gel couple of months ago and it is very strong stuff... The worst choice i ever made...I end up with a eczema, extreme itching, red rash then eventually to some superficial scars, hypo spot.......Went to derm, he recomended elidel......
I think right now, the itching and rash has stopped but you never know because of eczema.........Maybe i got a bad batch or since i was using other AHA products, my skin was more senstive.......

Anyone had similar side effects????

You may be extremely sensitive to any of the ingredients, even if they are "natural".

I was reading some of the posts about sensetivity to the R-ALA. I also think it was too strong for me. The first time I put it on I had a hives type reaction on my cheeks and I thought it was because I was rubbing my face to hard when I washed it off. Then I used it the second day and left it on for a shorter period of time and I didn't have the same reaction. Then on the third day I left it on for an hr again and had a hives reaction on my jaw line, near my temples and on my cheeks. I e-mailed deming and they said they have never had a person react like that before. So I just recently bought the IG noC because it has the same ingredients as the R-ALA but without the vitamin C. I will update as soon as I get it in and see if it works better.

I have ordered skin biologys copper serum & wondered if any of you who find puredemings gel good can advice whether the one without vit c works as well as the others as I understand that is better to use with copper products due to vit c reaction with them
I have HUGE pores with bumpy skin round them and am hoping the copper p will help but sounds like the gel is good too.

I am starting Accutane in 2 days and have been looking into Puredeming IG R-ALA for some time.

Is this safe to use while on Accutane or should I wait until afterwards?

Wait until afterwards. The Intense gel is a bit strong, and used on skin made thinner and more sensitive by Accutane might be a recipe for disaster. You might not see the irritation to know it's happening, but Accutane is serious business, and the only things you should be putting on your face are moisturizers and possibly sunscreen (but make sure the sunscreen doesn't have any form of Vitamin A in it, which would probably appear in the ingredients as "retinol" or "retinyl palmitate" or something similar--better safe than sorry). Especially if you already have some scarring from acne, it may be worsened if you use the Intense Gel or other strong products while on Accutane. Trust me on this.

Good luck with Accutane. Great drug for acne, but you have to be very nice to your skin while on it.

Yes Sapphire, the site does exist but you're spelling it wrong its www.puredeming.com
I have tried my IGnoC a couple of days - its smells lovely - yet to see if it shrinks my humungus pores.
By the way I did a skin culture peel which was hugely expensive and I was terrified half way through I got a message on another thread to say some people had bad scarring from it- eeek!!!

Anyway all its done is dried my skin out (which is lovely as its so oily but its already getting oily again) and it flakes a bit - meant to peel off in huge strands.
I think my skin is so tough nothing touches it. I tried the most expensive strongest peel they do to. Costs about £100 (dreading my next credit card bill)

I'd still be glad of feedback on the IgnoC from any users. I really wanted to try the ALA gel as I thought it would work better but use copper peptides so thought the no C one would be safer.

Eric
I havent tried accutane so not sure. But I have now tried the ignoc gel and the ala one when not at same time as copper products and dont seem to have any ill effects from either.
Dont think its helping my open pores yet but only used a few days. At least - though its oily and my skins really oily it doesnt seem to cause breakouts
However my skin seems so tough nothing touches it - hence my previous message about really strong skin peels having little effect.

sorry cant advise on accutane

It says to use 2-3 teaspoons. Do you actually apply it onto your face with a teaspoon. What do you guys use to put it on your face? I think the directions are pathetic. It's too thick to apply with a cotton ball or pad. It just gets absorbed into the ball or pad. It's too liquidy to use your fingers and that's how you waste a 2 oz bottle of that stuff. So I'm wondering how do you guys put it on your face?

Hey,

It was mentioned that this product was good for reducing pores. I have huge pores on my cheeks below my eyes.
Not to mention I have several red marks remaining on my cheeks and around my mouth. I have been using acv and a 2% salycic acid cream.

I know results vary for all people but is there anyone with similar conditions who was greatly helped by this? ie - reduced pores, even skin tone, reduce red marks?

I guess I am just hesitant with the $36 american price tag.

Thanks

Any one have any new views or opinions on how the new Demmings IG has been working for them.
I should be receiving mine in the mail shortly.
Thanks.
