Are there any advantages of using a face steamer to clean your face? Or will it make acne worse by causing breakouts? I have lots of blackheads and whiteheads and wondering if this would benefit me if combined with the DKR regimen that i'm already on?

why not use the dip method. fill your sink up with water HOT and leave you face in for 20 seconds or so at a time. doing around 60 seconds max 2/3 times a day

Think i'll leave it then. Done the dip method but made my skin too dry. I will see if anyone else can convince me to use steam. Thanks

been there, done that - religiously. Bought a face steamer and used it twice a day 15 mins each, for about 6 months. Drove me near mad beause of the time and effort which ensued.
The result? Not great.
A facial steam is good, maybe once every 3 weeks.
Don't buy a steamer either - just boil the kettle, pour it into a bowl and cover your head over it with a large towel. Give it between 10-20mins. It's pretty good, tends to make things look a bit more evened out, but it's easy to over do and then you don't get anything great from it. Can also make pores more enlarged.
