aloe vera gel

i guess this stuff helps with my acne a little bit, but it's weird because my outer skin is very oily but underneath, it's very dry so the aloe vera just makes my skin feel tight and then my skin gets all dried out in the morning, should i put my regular moisturizer on top of the aloe? by the way, i use the cvs version of fruit of the earth. i really want to give this a try as i have only used it for one night. any suggestions??

Ive heard afew people on these forums state aloe breaks them out due to the film it leaves ontop of the skin.
Personally i find if i get a small amount of my preferred moisturizer and mix it with aloe vera gel, it is quite beneficial and inturn allows it all to be absorbed rather than sitting on the skins surface.
