Yay!
I am really hoping that Laura can give my daughter a new regimen that will have some milder products. I really would like to see my daughter off the BP for a while. I think her face needs a break from it. I still sometimes think she should just stop using all products on her face. At least she has gone down from BP 10% to BP 5%. I think the BP has caused her face to be more sensitive and red and dull looking.

I just hope seeing her will be the miracle we have been looking for. I am driving my daughter 5 hours to see her. Keep your fingers crossed. I will let you know how it goes.

The products she recommends will be ones that she thinks your daughter's skin can handle (based on the results of the skin exam and the sensitivity test). She won't recommend something that will be too harsh for her skin, but she will give you the strongest products she thinks her skin can handle. Using powerful products while minimizing irritation is why her regimen is so successful. The products may not need to be milder - they may just need to be better versions of what she's tried (BP, salicylic acid), and applied in a specific way to avoid the irritation and problems that your daughter has had with products in the past.

I am still very excited to see what she has to say. My DD is very excited also. We both can't wait.

Yay! Confidence, confidence! Both of you go with confidence that THIS is the solution. That alone will help make the solution.
