Hello everyone,
I'm new here, male, aged 22 and have a beard. For a while now i've found that plucking the hair from an acne infected follicle can be very effective in getting rid of the sebum quickly and cleanly, at least in the short-term...
I have since learned that such a method can result in in-grown facial hairs which are even more painful and inflamed, and so i now do my best to avoid it (although it is rather addictive!).
I'd like to know firstly if this can lead to long-term scarring as it certainly leaves some quite nasty red marks (especially since i started a course of roaccutane), and secondly, what is the best way to deal with in-grown facial hair?
Cheers

sounds like you have folliculitis in that case u need topical clindamycin or oral dicloxacillin or if yer allergic to penacillin erythromycin.

Yea, I dont know if u have folliculitis or what, but whenever I shave and then get an ingrown hair or whatever, i pop it, and then pull out the hair. If i dont pull out the hair, the pimple will come right back.
