I think there might be something to this. It just doesn't make any sense to me how anyone could simply "outgrow" a harsh skin reaction like acne. However, I have heard that allergic reactions take about 7 years to "pass".
So maybe it is simply an allergic reaction to wheat/dairy/sugar.

a good start would be to cut out dairy and wheat since these seem to be the two biggest sensitivities for many acne sufferers

don't wait that long. you can prevent it by eating foods that do not contain soya. it has high contents on estrogen mimicking molecules that causes overactivity of your sebaceous glands thus too much oil is produced. you can use ionic silver to keep bacteria from infecting it.
