Ok, so I went on some medication and while it is working to rid inflammatory acne, now im getting these little bumps. They dont inflame to pimples, and you cant see them from far away. Up close though they are all over. I dont know if you can see them very well, but does anyone know how to get rid of them? More up near my eye.

There's an excellent post by LionQueen that addresses those types of clogged pores specifically. Basically, her advice is to exfoliate. You can exfoliate via the excellent chemicals she mentions OR you could exfoliate via NdnRomeo's "Baby Hair Brush Method". Using both methods has really benefited me. I'm seeing daily clearing and improvement in the overall texture, tone and condition of my skin.

Today two different people told me, "Your skin is glowing! What are you doing?" This was several hours into the shift, and NO makeup. They thought it was just due to my marriage. smile.gif Partly, yes, but a lot due to the below posts. Good luck.

But be gentle because you could make them more angry. I have little bumps like these and sometimes when i exfoliate they turn into pimples. How long have you had them? Have you been out in the sun?

I've been exfoliating with my face brush for a while, but lately have found that you may need an acid like SA to really clean out and purge clogged pores. I still get closed comedones with the brush...bugger. Using the face brush only helps on the surface of the skin while SA gets deep into the pores.

The above poster seems entirely correct with a great combination of products. smile.gif

I've been using glycolic acid plus the baby's hair brush method and saw tremendous but not complete clearing of my skin. I've just recently added Paula's Choice 2% BHA liquid and Green Cream (retinoid). We'll see how horrid my initial breakout is. I expect it within the next two weeks. I have fewer blackheads on the nose and cheeks. I still have several on the chin, but they are absolutely microscopic now. I hope they all go away completely soon. If not, mandelic acid may happen to my skin.

No, I don't have a log. Gosh, I suppose some day I should start one since I did get my regimen from reading other people's logs. (willow569, ayla, Tsunami, LionQueen, Snow Queen, etc). They all have gorgeous skin. I know there are other logs I've looked at for ideas, but I can't come up with their names right now.

Hello. That doesn't appear to be active acne. It looks like redmarks. Exfoliation would help that, but time alone will also reduce if not eliminate redmarks. If it is minor comedonal acne (which is the other possibility), the two posts by NdNRomeo and LionQueen above will greatly help your skin.

Hi, likely you shouldn't do any heavy duty exfoliation since you're on accutane. If you're desperate due to the Accutane flakies, you could massage your face for several minutes with your moisturizer before your daily shower. Be generous with the moisturizer and gently massage your face. The gentle massaging may help with dislodging some of those flakes.

So from what i gathered is that you can't take care of these little bumps with just a cleanser? you have to find something that exfoliates well? like some kind of acidic product?
